Production Supervisor, 2nd Shift

Nutra Blend is an industry leader in manufacturing and distributing quality vitamin, trace mineral, micro-ingredients and antibiotic premixes for the feed industry.

As a division of Land O'Lakes our growth relies on hiring extraordinary, diverse talent. Our Supply Chain & Operations team provides strategic leadership across the company's many business units. The team plays a significant role in fueling revenue growth and profitability through operational excellence, quality, and process improvement.

The Production Supervisor is the front-line manager of the manufacturing process adding value and quality to the inputs and create the high-quality final products.  Your focus would be coordinating production, taking the forefront in safety and quality, employee engagement and compliance with regulatory needs. 

Required Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years leadership background OR High School degree with 4+ years of leadership experience.

Required Experience:

  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and production flow.
  • Strong demonstrated computer skills.
  • Ability to direct, influence and coach staff.
  • Ability to work with management to reach and maintain production schedules and goals.
  • Communicator, decision maker, quality orientation, technical/professional knowledge, customer focus, time management and oriented toward process improvement.

Minimum qualification:

  • 18 years or older.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work in cold and/or hot temperatures throughout the day.
  • Adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensures a safe working environment for employees.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Train and engage employees

Preferred Experience:

  • Self-Reliant and able to accurately work under limited supervision.
  • Able to trouble shoot mechanical problems.
  • Advanced Safety training.
  • HACCP training/certifications.
  • Ability to be flexible in work performed and schedule.
  • Knowledge of various pieces of high tech manufacturing processing and packaging equipment. Examples include but not limited to baggers, palletizers and cookers.
  • Above average organizational skills.

Hours: 2nd Shift hours are Monday through Friday; 2:30pm-11:30pm

Salary: $69,040 - $103,560

In most cases, candidates offered employment can expect to be hired at a pay rate near the middle of our salary ranges
