Manufacturing Engineer, Sr

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Brecksville team! As our Manufacturing Engineer you will perform various analyses, program CNC lathes, design fixtures and/or other manufacturing or industrial engineering projects. You will develop, implement and maintain methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of metal parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. You will also interface with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products.

Your Challenge

  • Write CNC programs for CNC lathes (single turret and twin turret).

  • Develop, prepare, and maintain CNC manufacturing processes.

  • Responsible for improvements of manufacturing processes to provide most economical means of production.

  • Provide technical support for plant layout, purchase of equipment, upgrade of equipment, feasibility studies.

  • Create and update manufacturing standard procedure, which defines specific manufacturing processes.

  • Establish Manufacturing process flow and work instruction.

  • Perform other assignments as directed by manager.

  • Shop floor support

What You Bring

  • Bachelors of Science, Manufacturing Engineering preferred. Candidate with equivalent work experience and a significant programming background will be considered.

  • Continuous improvement mindset and/or knowledge of Lean 6 Sigma methodologies

  • 5 years machining experience

  • MS Office

  • Experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment

  • Strong bias for action
