Job Description
Job Title : Line Lead (Lewisberry, PA, US, 17339)

Job Summary

Line Leads assist Supervisors in the coordination and management of department activities to meet daily production goals. 

Primary Duties

  • Review daily production schedule and ensure demands are met through proper scheduling of work  
  • Provide leadership, communication and work direction for employees by assigning work and participating in workload where needed  
  • Provide training to new and existing employees as needed  
  • Periodically review the work of line employees to ensure adherence to quality standards and work instructions  
  • Periodically check and ensure line employees have adequate supplies to perform job  
  • Ensure employees are aware of and provided with proper protective equipment and trained on chemical use and emergency exits in the department.  
  • Responsible for compliance and adherence of safety policies and procedures  
  • Inform Supervisors/Plant Manager of any department or employee issues; provide recommendations  
  • Contact OES/Maintenance to resolve equipment issues  
  • Enter data into and review information in CMS and Training Manager as needed  
  • Participate in various improvement activities  
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related duties that may be outside of assigned priorities.

Education / Experience

  • Computer experience  
  • Hands on experience with all department functions
