JOB TITLE: Fenestration/Manufacturing EngineerLOCATION: 4395 S Cotton Ln, Goodyear, AZ 85338
JOB DUTIES: Responsible for driving department and enterprise key initiatives through continuous process improvement, improving customer satisfaction, reducing waste, increasing efficiency, and eliminating variation in manufacturing processes. Specific duties will be to:
(1) partner with operations, RD&I, quality, maintenance, and supply chain functions to drive improvements.
(2) support fabrications and assembly operations focused on improving safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
(3) work closely with production supervisors, team leads, and production employees to perform problem solving and root cause analysis.
(4) lead continuous improvement projects and cost reductions to yield improvements with delivery partners.
(5) utilize sound project management tools for complex projects and key initiatives.
(6) manage the design, procurement, and startup of capital equipment projects.
(7) develop operator balance charts for assembly work cells.
(8) partner with ongoing product development team to implement product design and changes.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related (OR EQUIVALENT)
• 6 months engineering experience or related, including specific experience with equipment
procurement and project management; knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and quality
systems
SALARY: $75,234
