Job Title : Quality Technician - 1st Shift (7a-3p)

Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Quality Control Technician with forklift driving experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that incoming products meet our quality standards and for rebuilding damaged and partial pallets. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently. Please note that this position is located in a non-temperature controlled environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect incoming products to verify correct quantities, artwork accuracy, and proper sizing.
  • Conduct thorough quality checks and document any discrepancies or issues.
  • Rebuild and organize damaged and partial pallets to ensure proper storage and handling.
  • Operate a forklift to move and stack products as needed.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to maintain an organized and efficient workspace.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Report any significant issues or concerns to the Quality Control Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a quality control or similar role, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience operating forklifts required. Clamp truck experience a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies in product quality.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 30 lbs) and perform physical tasks.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Ability to work in a non-temperature controlled environment, which may be subject to varying conditions.
