THIS POSITION IS FOR SWING SHIFT – 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. M/F. with a potential for Saturday or Sunday work, depending on the business needs.  

LOOKING FOR A HIGH LEVEL SKILLED 5 AXIS MACHINIST - EXPERIENCE WITH HAAS CONTROLLERS & MAZAK

SUMMARY OF POSITION: 

Responsible for set up and run the most complex, proven, or new parts with little to no supervision. 

  • Utilize shop paper procedures, including updates, signatures, and stamps, counting quantities, labeling, and non-conformance-related activities 
  • Read blueprints, tooling instructions, and standard charts for specifications.
  • Program, set up, and run all facets of work assigned.
  • Develop fixtures as needed.
  • Assist in creating an accurate set-up book for production.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with HAAS Controllers and Mazak
  • High school diploma, GED equivalent, or Technical School required.
  • 5-7 years of work-related experience
  • Extensive knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of blueprint reading, GD & T
  • Extensive knowledge of accepted inspection practices
  • Extensive knowledge of CNC programming and G&M code
  • Extensive probe and toll pre-setter knowledge
