Job Description
Job Title : Quality Technician - Metals Manufacturing

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00/HR

Shift: 5:00am - 3:00pm (Monday - Thursday)

Lake Air Products is seeking a 1st Shift Quality Inspector at our Little Chute & Appleton locations. 

This is an excellent role if you have experience in Manufacturing Quality Inspection and want to enjoy a 4 Day Workweek!

Responsibilities

  • Visually inspect parts for previous damage.
  • Visually inspect parts and paperwork to ensure prior steps are complete.
  • Inspect parts after coating is complete as needed.
  • Completes quality documents as needed.
  • Perform all In-Process inspections as directed
  • Perform all 1st piece inspections as required
  • Assist production with IP inspections at the line
  • Support and follow all Quality processes
  • Comply with ISO & quality system requirements
  • Supports Quality and Production departments in day-to-day activities.
  • Maintains a safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. 
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies. 

 

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Quality background preferred.
  • Ability to use standard bench measuring equipment.
  • Knowledge of inspections & quality control methods.
  • Navigating a PC with MS windows and MS Office.
  • Reading blueprints and performing all necessary measurements
