MFG Zone is an online platform built to help the manufacturing community connect, find opportunities, and grow — bringing together a business directory, RFQ tools, equipment listings, a job board, and a community feed for the people who make things.
Who We Are
MFG Zone was co-founded by an uncle-and-niece team: John Schuld, a manufacturing veteran who owns Swistek Machinery America and brings firsthand experience with the challenges businesses face, and his niece Amanda Schuld, who grew up in a family of manufacturers and brings a background in digital marketing, social media, and community building.
Why We Started The MFG Zone
A big part of our mission is supporting small manufacturing businesses that may not have the budget, time, or resources to market themselves. There are talented shops doing great work that deserve to be seen. We want to give them the same opportunities as the bigger players — to showcase their capabilities, connect with buyers, and compete for new business. By making visibility and marketing support more accessible, we're helping create a more level playing field.
