About the Role:

As a Working Maintenance Lead for our treating plant, you’ll be the go-to maintenance expert on your shift. While you’ll have team members nearby, you’ll be the primary maintenance person responsible for keeping equipment running, managing the parts room, and ensuring everything is ready before it’s needed. This role is ideal for someone who is highly self-motivated, organized, and confident working independently.

Employee Benefits and Career Growth:

  • Benefits: Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and more.
  • Classroom Learning: Expand your knowledge and skills with classroom learning opportunities.
  • Career Advancement: Discover potential career paths within the company and advance into new roles as you grow.
  • Profit Sharing: We believe in sharing our success. When the plant performs well, we reward our employees with bonuses, typically in the fall and spring.

What You'll Do:

  • Hands-On Maintenance: Perform maintenance, repairs, and installations of treating plant equipment and systems.
  • Work Independently: Lead yourself, plan your day, prioritize tasks, and stay ahead of maintenance needs with minimal supervision.
  • Parts Management: Order parts, manage inventory, and keep the parts room organized and well-stocked.
  • Shift Communication: Provide clear end-of-shift updates to management, including completed work, parts used, and any outstanding needs.
  • Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnose and resolve mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Stay on top of scheduled maintenance to keep equipment running efficiently.
  • Safety First: Follow all OSHA and company safety standards, including lock-out/tag-out procedures.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment status.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or treating plant environment.
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing parts inventory and ordering supplies.
  • Ability to read and interpret machine schematics and technical documents.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment.
  • Must possess a valid state driver’s license.

Ready to Lead and Make a Difference—Independently?

If you're ready to take ownership and be the driving force behind a smooth-running treating plant, we encourage you to apply! Join us and be part of a company that values your initiative, your leadership, and your future.

The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
