In this role you will lead, coach, guide & verify excellent work by the manufacturing engineers in the (CAD) or (PAD & Shared Services) Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to support Fairfield Site Operations.

What You Will Do
Direct Leader of a varied experience level staff of manufacturing engineers across various productions areas.
Ownership of Manufacturing Processes in Fairfield including Fabrication, Assembly, Non-Destructive Testing, Functional Testing, Inspection, & Packaging processes.
Overall responsible for assigned IPT’s Creation, Modification & Implementation of Manufacturing Equipment, Tooling, Fixtures, Guarding & Shielding, Floor Layouts/drawing maintenance & improvements supporting production flow & ergonomic optimization.
Guide engineers on and Review/Approve technical processes and equipment changes to resolve Safety and product Quality issues.
Lead Manufacturing Process Review including PFMEA, Management of Change Actions, Review & Approval, Operations Change Control Board
Allocate ME resources to Lead or support discretionary projects, failure investigations, RCCA’s, Capital Expenditure projects, and other process improvement efforts such as CORE events.
Provide feedback and approval for product design changes affecting manufacturing. Flow to manufacturing and provide guidance and support for successful implementation in production.
Provide Manufacturing Engineering resources for Bid & Proposal & Sales Order Kickoffs, supporting value stream and ensure production readiness.
Drive Systemic Production Improvements including but not limited to Factory 4.0 Initiatives
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) access.

The salary range for this role is 90,000 USD - 182,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
