Manufacturing Engineer

Under direct supervision, sets up and operates a wide variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines including robotic assembly equipment used in the production of the company's product. Responsible for the overall operation of potentially large-scale manufacturing machinery including actions such as feeding materials for processing, adjusting settings, performing minor repairs, and pulling finished product from the line. Works from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks. Checks and inspects operation results against predetermined tolerances.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Accurately follow and interpret instructions and drawings. Complete production and test documentation with a high level of accuracy. Set-up, operate and maintain equipment used in the production of the company's product in order to carry out the manufacturing processes in a number of designated areas with a high level of accuracy and quality with minimal supervision. Meet production routing times on jobs for which training has been received. Assist in the job training of lesser skilled operators.
