Job Title : Production Control Clerk

Now is your chance to make a difference. We are hiring immediately for a full time, Production Control Clerk. With a culture rooted in continuous improvement, this role is mission critical.

  • Develop and maintain records on product shipment and present production activities.
  • Review stock records, material requirements and future production schedules to determine if on-hand materials are sufficient to complete production on schedule.
  • Computer Skills including Microsoft Suite/Outlook
  • Execute the orders authorized in the MPS.
  • Gather information and prepare shop packets.
  • Verify materials and tooling equipment are available in collaboration with the production planner.
  • Scan closed work orders and run work orders thru tollgate one.
  • Ensure availability of these resources when needed; collaborate with the production planner to identify shortages.
  • Run work order release report daily. 
  • Communicate to production planner work orders releasing late.
  • Monitor/control work-in-process, lead-time, and queues in collaboration with team lead; monitor start and completion dates for each work order, communicating with the production planner on work orders with late production start dates to determine updated schedule to meet customer demands.
  • Provide information on work-in-process inventories to drive appropriate levels set by inventory policy.
  • Close completed work orders and perform inventory at the end of job completion; control inventory accuracy in the cage.
  • Conduct monthly inventory in production area (shelf life), work-in-process, closed jobs etc. 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications – External

  • 1-3 years’ experience

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma preferred
