Objective:

 

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machines in working condition.  This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and adherence to safety and quality standards.  The Machine Operator will report to the Shop Lead and/or the Director of Operations.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

Machine Operator will properly and safely use the tools and equipment within the shop as needed.

 

Inspect plated parts for uniformity, thickness, and defects.

 

This individual should be able to provide clear and concise written documentation as required and able to follow written and verbal instructions in English.

 

Ability to Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job orders to determine product specifications and tooling instructions.

 

This individual should possess good measurement skills, with the ability to accurately read calipers, micrometers and other precision measuring devices up to and including 0.000X”.

 

The technician will be grinding close tolerance diameters in all materials including, inconel, titanium, stainless, chrome, etc.
