Position Summary

We are searching for a motivated Production Operator Associate that will be part of our manufacturing plant. Production Associates are vital to the success of our business and operations. In your role with Associated Materials, you will ensure our products maintain the highest level of quality satisfaction our customers expect.  Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate daily production activities on the production floor while ensuring volume, costs, waste, and quality standards are achieved.
  • Assign tasks and manage production team members workload to meet schedule requirements, maximize productivity, and provide on-the-job training with a focus on fostering a positive team environment that promotes collaboration.
  • Operate all equipment as assigned, following standard operating procedures and monitor production output.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, conduct safety inspections, address potential hazards, ensure proper PPE is used, and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Use various tools to cut, process, and assemble all window components.
  • Routine usage of material handling equipment and packing/labeling finished goods.
  • Have strong attention to detail to inspect windows and equipment for quality and any defects.
  • Load machines, pack product, pull items, prepare labels, and support projects as required.
  • Actively contribute and effectively communicate to the team.
  • Other duties as assigned, including housekeeping and cross-training to become proficient across multiple positions and production lines.

What we’re looking for

  • Preferred experience of 2-3 years in a manufacturing / production environment as a Lead
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Thorough understanding of production processes, machine operations, and quality control standards.
  • Strong attention detail and willingness to work independently or as part of a team and contribute to all areas of operations.
  • Clear communication to all team members and able to read / comprehend English language (Fully Bi-lingual) is a plus in Spanish and English
  • One who values diversity and takes pride in building a team together.

 

 

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical fitness to include movements, positioning, remaining stationary which include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, climbing, pushing/pulling, forward bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, postural balancing, manipulating, trunk rotation, handling, gripping, and talking (hearing).
  • Able to lift-up to 75 lbs. at any given time.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Work in different temperature-controlled environments.
